Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Act as effective members of a team involved in analysis and design activities using the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Explain the key concepts of the Unified Process (UP) and identify how it differs from other approaches
- Be aware of the main modelling types of the UML and how they relate to each other and to the phases and workflows of the Unified Process.
- Construct use case diagrams, use case specifications, activity diagrams, class models, state charts, sequence diagrams and collaboration (communication) diagrams using UML notation.
