10th World Congress in Psycho-Oncology 9-13th June, Madrid

The Psychosocial Academy will offer workshops conducted by leaders in the field, Monday and Tuesday, 9 & 10 June 2008. The Congress, held Wednesday - Friday, 11 - 13 June, 2008, will include symposia, podium presentations and posters addressing a variety of disciplines within psychosocial oncology. Training workshops, posters, oral presentations and symposia in both English and Spanish are planned.

Congress is aimed at a wide range of professionals including but not limited to, those who work as physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, epidemiologists, social scientists and educators.

 BCRT Patients' & Supporters' Conference 2008 - BCRT are holding their 2nd annual Patients' & Supporters' Conference on Saturday June 28th in Leicester. The one day conference is for bone cancer patients, their families and friends. The conference will include:-

-Talks by current and former patients
-Presentations by international experts about diagnosis and treatment
-News of the latest medical research
-Plenty of opportunity to meet other patients and families and put questions to the specialists
