From M1 Junction 22/A50

1. Approaching Leicester by the M1 from the north, exit at junction 22 and follow signs for A50 for Leicester.
2. As approaching city centre, A50 will be signposted Northampton.
3. Approaching Leicester along Groby road, pass Glenfield Hospital on left, Gilroes Cemetary.
4. At major T junction in city, bear right onto Vaughan Way (dual carriageway). Go under underpass, then bear to the left (one way system in Newarke Street). Keep in centre lane and at end bear right into Welford Road.
5. Take left lane on Welford Road. Pass HM Prison and green park area.
6. Immediately after park turn left at traffic lights onto Tigers Way (dual carriageway).
7. At second set of traffic lights turn left onto Regent Road.
8. At church turn right onto Crescent Street. At small crossroads, Hearts of Oak House is the building on the left.
9. For reserved parking at Hearts of Oak House, turn left off Crescent Street (before reaching crossroads) into tunnel leading to car park. Access requires a plastic key. This will be left at Hearts of Oak reception. CCLG spaces in the car park are labelled.
10. For on road metered parking (max 3 hours) loop round building for space in front of building or select any of adjacent side roads. An NCP car park is situated at the bottom of Regent Road - access from Duke Street, a 5-10 minute walk away from the Data Centre.

Accessing the building: Access is now via a speaker phone system at the main door. For meetings at the Data Centre, a list of names will be left with reception and you should press the buzzer for reception to be admitted. Individuals coming to the Data Centre should first press for reception. If you are admitted you will be directed up to the third floor. If you get no response, you should then press the buzzer for CCLG. Someone will then come down to open the door.
