How to find us - Directions to CCLG Data Centre

From Junction 21, M1/M69

Parking at the CCLG Data Centre is limited. If coming by car, contact the Data Centre Tel: 0116 249 4460 to enquire about a parking space and for instructions regarding access to the building.

  1. From motorway take Leicester A5460
  2. Avoiding signs for outer ring road, continue to large roundabout. Take second exit (A5460), dual carriageway (Narborough road).
  3. Continue along Narborough Road, passing in about 1m, the Holiday Inn on the right.
  4. Continue straight on through shopping area.
  5. Pass garage on left and look out for Lloyds Bank on left at traffic lights.
  6. At those lights turn right into Upperton Road (signposted to Infirmary). Upperton Road continues into Walnut Street. Keep in outside lane.
  7. At T Junction (Infirmary on left) proceed left (one way system), immediately getting into right hand lane and where that lane becomes two, keep to the left for traffic lights to follow signs for A50 to Northampton. Follow the road round to the right. Beware - traffic moves very fast round here!
  8. After traffic lights, take the left hand lane and head up A50 for approx 100m and at traffic lights turn left into Tigers Way (dual carriageway).
  9. At second set of traffic lights on Tigers Way, turn left into Regent Road.
  10. At church turn right onto Crescent Street. At small crossroads, Hearts of Oak House is the building on the left.
  11. For reserved parking at Hearts of Oak House, turn left off Crescent Street (before reaching crossroads) into tunnel leading to car park. Access requires a plastic key. This will be left at Hearts of Oak reception. CCLG spaces in the car park are labelled.
  12. For on road metered parking (max 3 hours) loop round building for space in front of building or select any of adjacent side roads. An NCP car park is situated at the bottom of Regent Road - access from Duke Street, a 5-10 minute walk away from the Data Centre.

Accessing the building: Access is via a speaker phone system at the main door. For meetings at the Data Centre, a list of names will be left with reception and you should press the buzzer for reception to be admitted. Individuals coming to the Data Centre should first press for reception. If you are admitted you will be directed up to the third floor. If you get no response, you should then press the buzzer for CCLG. Someone will then come down to open the door.
